Use of Building Information Modeling to facilitate the application of robotic systems in construction

She received a Master's Degree in Architecture at the Polytechnical University of Milan and an interdisciplinary Master's Degree in Advanced Construction and Building Technology at the Technical University of Munich. Her Master thesis was developed under a joint supervision of the department of Architecture and Mechanical Engineering in collaboration with KEWAZO, a start-up developing a robotic system to automate scaffolding logistics and assembly. During her studies she worked as research assistant the Chair of Building Realisation and Robotics of the TUM. She is currently an Industrial PhD student sponsored by Fraunhofer Italia in the Advanced-Systems Engineering program of the Free University of Bolzano-Bozen, where she is deepening her research on bridging the gap between robotics and the construction site.
